Listing an event on the Social Melbourne event calendar is free.  The calendar is specifically set up for 'Social' events.  Social Melbourne reserves the right to determine if an event is deemed 'social' and appropriate for listing on the calendar.

Adding your event

1. Go to the calendar on the 'WHAT'S ON' page
2. Click on the date of your event
3. Click on the 'Add an event' button
4. Common tab
   o Subject: The name of your event (This is what the public/VIP will see)
   o Categories: Select the category (refer VIP or Public)
   Selecting 'VIP' will limit access to Social Melbourne VIP members only.
   Public listings will be displayed on both the Public & VIP calendars
   o Picture: Select 'Browse' and upload your invite or image that supports your event. If you upload your invite, most of the details will be listed on your invite
   o Activitiy: Free text area, type any information here that is not included on the invite image or additional information. (the format is basic and preset)
   o Location: Even if this information is included on your invite image, it doesn't hurt to add it again so it is clear
   o Contact: Name, phone number & or email address for contact person
   o Extra Info: Additional free text area
5. Calendar tab
   o Check your Start date and End date to make sure they are correct
   o Update your Start time and End time - & don't forget to check the relevant AM or PM options.

7. Click 'Save'
